Upon seeing Loki and Sylvie, the Time-Keepers prepared to execute them when Hunter B-15 broke into the chamber and handed Loki and Sylvie weapons. Renslayer brought Loki and Sylvie to the Time-Keepers herself. The Time-Keepers are revealed to be androids However, after Mobius learned the truth of the TVA, he was erased. The Time-Keepers planned on having them both executed with Renslayer and Mobius to witness. After Sylvie bombed the Sacred Timeline, the Time-Keepers met Renslayer to reprimand her for allowing Mobius M. The Time-Keepers looked over Sylvie's case and would check in routinely with Ravonna Renslayer during the investigation. However, in reality, the Time-Keepers were androids and the members of the Time Variance Authority were Variants themselves. Protecting and preserving the timeline they created, the Time-Keepers also created the Time Variance Authority and its entire staff to help maintain the peace throughout the realities and keep all the timelines on the path of the Sacred Timeline. They brought peace to the Multiverse by reorganizing it into a single timeline, known as the Sacred Timeline.

Is the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe going to be the Time-Keepers versus members of the Avengers from points in their subjective timelines? This would allow Chris Evans to return as Captain America, or Robert Downey Jr. In the conflict, Kang would eventually kill the three Time-Keepers. The Time-Keepers regularly fought against the Avengers who, allied with Kang the Conqueror, defeated the Time-Keepers. A majority of the Time-Keepers time was devoted to meddling with Thor and the Fantastic Four. Throughout the years, the Time-Keepers were in charge of the Time Variance Authority, the organization designed to monitor the sacred timeline. The Time-Keepers are not integral characters, they simply influenced and slightly changed some Avengers-related missions. In the comics, the Time-Keepers were introduced as creations of He Who Remains, a cosmic being from the previous universe, as a way to guide and alter the upcoming, new universe. The Time-Keepers decided that in order to prevent a future multi-dimensional war from happening again, they would combine the various timelines into a singular one which they would then monitor and control.
